And Now for Something Completely Different

Recent consultancy work on the Carbonix side of CarbonicBoats. Once again, we are not allowed to show much given the nature of the project (UAV with defence applications – think a six metre wingspan bird). There are definitely interesting parallels with foiling sailboats, especially with respect to dynamic stability.

Busy Times

Progress continues on RM tooling preparation in the workshop. In the office the A Cat design is approaching completion. R10R and IOM developments are in the pipeline and consultancy work continues on aerospace projects.

UAV Tunnel Model

More very interesting aerospace work. Unfortunately details are confidential except that this is a (discarded) model for wind tunnel evaluation… The experience we are gaining in this field has fantastic applications in boats and other vehicles, not to mention commercial drones.

UAV CAD Work

CAD drafting and optimisation work. These images of a shortlisted (but not final) design have been cleared for release. Most aspects of the project remain classified.
